Follow the timeline below to stay informed and help your student complete each step on time. We’ve outlined the process in eight clear steps to make enrollment simple and stress free.

Step 1: Application Review

Application Review:

Your child's application to iSchool Virtual Academy is currently under review by our Enrollment Team. This step ensures all submitted information meets our enrollment criteria. You will receive an email notification as soon as their application has been processed.

  • Regularly check your email, including spam or promotions folders, for updates from iSchool Virtual Academy of Ohio about your application status.
  • Organize Your Emails: Create a dedicated folder for all communication related to your application.
  • Set Email Notifications: Enable notifications on your email account to receive prompt alerts for any new messages.

Step 2: Credentials Email

Credentials Email:

You will receive an email from donotreply@bocavox.com titled "Credentials for Your Virtual School Portal - ACTION REQUIRED." This email contains important instructions to set up your portal password and access your account.

  • Create a strong, memorable password for your portal. Consider using a passphrase or a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Write down your password in a safe place or use a password manager to securely store it.
  • Bookmark the login page of your virtual school portal for quick access in the future.

Step 3: Complete the Registration Form

Complete the Registration Form:

After logging into your portal, navigate to the Registration section located in the Left Menu. Complete all fields in the Registration Form to proceed with your enrollment.

  • Read each question and instruction carefully before providing your responses.
  • Double check your entries for accuracy before submitting the registration form.

Step 4: Submit Required Documents

Submit Required Documents:

To finalize your child’s enrollment, you must submit several essential documents. These documents help verify their identity and eligibility for enrollment in iSchool Virtual Academy.


Required Documents:

  • A copy of the student’s birth certificate.
  • Two proofs of residency showing student or guardian/parent's name, physical address, and a recent date within the past 30 days.
  • A copy of the parent or guardian's driver's license/passport/photo ID.
  • A copy of the student's Social Security card (or state-issued ID).
  • A copy of the student’s immunization records.

Complete Digital Forms:

In addition to the required documents, you are required to complete various digital forms through your portal. These forms cover important agreements and declarations necessary for enrollment.

  • Acknowledgement of Immunization Requirements Form

Step 6: Awaiting Onboarding Status

Awaiting Onboarding Status:

Once all required documents and digital forms are submitted, your Enrollment Specialist will transition your status to Awaiting Onboarding. This step involves assigning you a student email and scheduling critical onboarding sessions.



Next Steps:

  • The Enrollment Specialist will schedule the first Onboarding Session with a Student Mentor.
  • You will also be scheduled for the first Parent University Session, both of which are vital for your successful enrollment.

Step 7: Attend Mentor &
Parent University Session

Mentor and Parent University Session:

Attendance at both the Mentor Session and the Parent University Session is crucial for your enrollment journey. These sessions provide essential information and support for your transition into iSchool Virtual Academy of Ohio environment.



Tips:

  • Ensure you attend the Mentor Session on time as it is mandatory for enrollment.
  • Participate actively in the Parent University Session to familiarize yourself with our virtual school's policies and resources.

Step 8: Final Enrollment

Final Enrollment:

Once all steps are completed and your child is accepted into our virtual school program, they will be immediately enrolled in their Homeroom Class and Orientation Class. These initial classes will help set the foundation for a successful learning experience with iSchool Virtual Academy.
