College Credit Plus
The College Credit Plus (CCP) programs is a transformative opportunity for college-ready students in grades 7-12 to earn both high school and college credit at the same time by taking courses at a participating Ohio college or university.
Students have the opportunity to take College Credit Plus courses from a public participating college for free including tuition, books, and other fees. This program is designed to promote rigorous academics, enhance career readiness, and provide a huge advantage for life after high school. Students can jumpstart their degree by following a standard 15 or 30 credit hour pathway. For those with a specific career in mind, Ashland University also offers specialized tracks in fields like Business, Education, and Nursing to help you get ahead in your major.
How to Get Started
To participate, students must meet college readiness standards and be formally admitted to a participating Ohio college or university.
The first essential step is to attend the
mandatory CCP informational session (October 29th or January 13th this school year)
and submit the
Intent to Participate Form to your school by the state deadline (usually
